Junior Section

Maesdu Junior’s Mission Statement:

“Our aim is to introduce golf to young people who have never picked up a club, encourage development of our more experienced players and provide a friendly and safe place for juniors to learn, practice, play and enjoy the inspiring game of golf”.

Austin Moss

I’m 16 years old and a pupil at Ysgol Aberconwy. I’m a very keen sportsman and I enjoy playing football and going to the gym, I also enjoy golf and I’m very proud to be Junior Captain of Maesdu for 2025. I’ve been a member at Maesdu for about 5 years.

My handicap is improving each year and I’m currently playing off 11. It is my goal to keep practicing, working hard to lower my handicap even further.

Maesdu Junior Section is a great way to meet other young golfers, we meet regularly and there are plenty of competitions to get involved with.
